But things change. People change. Change was one of the inevitable laws of nature, exacting its toll on people’s lives.

"I have made my world and it is a much better world than I ever saw outside."
"Pain (any pain--emotional, physical, mental) has a message. The information it has about our life can be remarkably specific, but it usually falls into one of two categories: "We would be more alive if we did more of this," and, "Life would be more lovely if we did less of that." Once we get the pain's message, and follow its advice, the pain goes away."
MAKE PEACE WITH THE MOMENT

Stevie Nicks

Even when you feel like your life is fading, I know that you’ll go on forever. You’re that good. Heartbreak of the moment is not endless.

Friedrich Nietzsche

The existence of forgetting has never been proved: We only know that some things don’t come to mind when we want them.

Let's live it up!

I am planning an amazing (*early) summer. Still in the works of course. And it will be be awesome, definitely. Sometimes, the plans we hope to make are never really planned out, but this year, everything will be different, I will make sure of it :)

I will not forsake
The colors that you bring
The nights you filled with fireworks
They left you with nothing
I am still enchanted
By the light you brought to me
I listen through your ears
Through your eyes I can see

You are such a fool

Emily Dickinson

"Forever is composed of nows."

You can’t live your life for other people. You’ve got to do what’s right for you, even if it hurts some people you love.

Sometimes around midnight

And it starts, sometime around midnight.
Or at least that’s when you lose yourself
for a minute or two.
As you stand, under the bar lights.
And the band plays some song
about forgetting yourself for a while.
And the piano’s this melancholy soundtrack to her smile.
And that white dress she’s wearing
you haven’t seen her for a while.

But you know, that she’s watching.
She’s laughing, she’s turning.
She’s holding her tonic like a cross.
The room’s suddenly spinning.
She walks up and asks how you are.
So you can smell her perfume.
You can see her lying naked in your arms.

And so there’s a change, in your emotions.
And all these memories come rushing
like feral waves to your mind.
Of the curl of your bodies,
like two perfect circles entwined.
And you feel hopeless and homeless
and lost in the haze of the wine.

Then she leaves, with someone you don’t know.
But she makes sure you saw her.
She looks right at you and bolts.
As she walks out the door,
your blood boiling
your stomach in ropes.
Oh and when your friends say,
“What is it? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”

Then you walk, under the streetlights.
And you’re too drunk to notice,
that everyone is staring at you.
You just don’t care what you look like,
the world is falling around you.

You just have to see her.
You just have to see her.
You just have to see her.
You just have to see her.
You just have to see her.
You know that she’ll break you in two.

I never understood before
I never knew what love was for
My heart was broke, my head was sore
What a feeling
